I'm not on a panel, but I've have been invited to speak at a PR conference (1st for me :-)! I think a lot of these apply to speaking in general, responding to Q&As. The biggest thing you mention: "be valuable to the audience." It's not about selling yourself as an expert, agreeing or disagreeing with other pros. It's about giving the audience what they want to hear, what they need to hear, and what will really make a difference to them.
